The French electronic duo Justice has created a unique life perfomance filmed specifically for cinemas. On August 29, viewers will have the opportunity to see greatest electro concerts ever produced and look behind the scenes of the house duo’s show. The only show of Iris: A Space Opera by Justice will be held in the Centralny and Raketa Cinemas.
Adapted from the live show “Woman Worldwide” that toured throughout 2017 and 2018, recorded in the largest sound stage in France, Iris: A Space Opera by Justice is widely considered to be one of the greatest electro concerts ever produced.
In an interview for Vmagazine, duo Justice member Xavier de Rosnay says that the title of the film Iris was chosen to make it sound like an artificial intelligence or computer that welcomes you onboard saying “Hello, I’m IRIS. Welcome to the spaceship.”
The space opera film was directed by André Chemetoff, cinematographer of the popular drama series Euphoria (2019) and Pia Marais’ Layla Fourier, premiered in Berlin international film festival in 2013 where Marais won a Special Mention.
Justice is a French electronic music duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay formed in 2003. The band's debut album «†» (Cross) consisting of 12 songs was released in June 2007.
